Surprisingly, the US Embassy move to Jerusalem will already take place in May this year. Two Trump administration officials said, that the ribbon cutting is likely to take place on May 14th, Israel’s 70th Day of Independence.
The embassy will temporarily move to and operate out of the compound of the current US Consulate General in Arnona, South Jerusalem. Later it will move to its permanent location.
