By and large, “Days of Rage” calm

The “Days of Rage”, as proclaimed by Palestinian Leaders, went more peaceful than expected. A small demonstration evolved Friday afternoon in front of Jerusalem’s Damascus Gate, which took place without violence. Numerous security forces of the Israeli police were present on site.

A spokesman of the Israeli police provides details about the tense, but relatively calm situation. Friday morning prayers could be attented without restrictions.
