Over the past week there have been daily rocket attacks on Israel from the Gaza Strip. One missile landed in an open field near Netiv Ha’asara, others could be intercepted by the Israeli defense system “Iron Dome”. There was no physical damage.
The Israeli military responded with airstrikes on military zones in Gaza: “In response to the rocket fired from the Gaza Strip at Israel earlier today, the IAF targeted a Hamas military compound in the southern Gaza Strip”, the IDF official statement read.
